Fused glass pendant handmade by Frances of Flick Glass in Muizenburg. This unique fused glass piece is made from layers of dicroic glass, fired in a kiln. Dicroic glass is made by coating the glass with multiple layers of metal oxides. These coatings transmit certain wavelenghts of light which create an interference effect similar to the iridescence seen in fire opals, dragonfly wings and hummingbird feathers.

A hot flush of pinks and fuscias, this rose is anything but demure.

Pendant comes with a tan or black cord looped through the glass at the top. Very remarkable!
